| The MOW creeps over the Myrtle Ave. crossing, frustrating more than a few tourists. A few seconds after I took this picture, an air hose burst on one of the old Conrail ballast cars, throwing the whole train in to emergency. The crew fixed it quickly, but not fast enough as some of the more impatient drivers began honking and swearing at the crew. The seemingly endless "building boom" is evident in the far background. Believe it or not, that building that's under construction sits on the site where my old church stood for 139 years. |
